Sarah Peterson is the Head Interior Designer at Vertices Custom Designs.
 
Sarah attended Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA where became an exemplar for visual expectations within various departments, including AAU's architectural department.
 
While pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Sarah served as both IAD Club President and as a student board member assisting in the accreditation process.
 
As an AAU student, Sarah won her first student design competition. Her winning project was installed at the office headquarters of a marketing firm in downtown San Francisco.
 
After excelling in the Interior Architecture and Design program and completing her degree, Sarah began working at an Architecture firm in her hometown of Bend, Oregon. Following her time there, she moved to Portland to pursue commercial design and explore new opportunities.
 
While in Portland, Sarah also worked on the campus of a local private college as Instructor of Interior Design Fundamentals. Teaching and helping others realize their potential was something Sarah really enjoyed. Watching and contributing to the growth of her students was an invaluable experience which she always will keep close to her heart. 

Sarah also worked full-time for a commercial interior design firm while teaching in Portland. The firm mainly focused on designing multi-family housing. There, the design process was strongly structured around Sketchup. Her experience with 3-D modeling and rendering in Sketchup became a strong and valuable skill she continues to use today.
